Want to look professional without really trying? NetObjects Fusion comes with more than 150 professionally-designed styles you can apply to your site with the click of a mouse (yes, honestly, just one click). So how do you choose the one that's right for you? The Stylizer is here to help. We've used NetObjects Fusion's built-in database publishing feature to sort these styles by impression
based on Daniel Will-Harris' EsperFonto system. This system groups designs into the following categories: Just choose the impression you want to convey, and the Stylizer will show you a list of styles that are appropriate
based on their impression. You'll see a list of impressions, plus a screen shot of the style so you can see what it will look like on your site. How do these categories work? The point of these categories is to help you find a style that's appropriate for your site. You don't act the same way when you're with friends as you do when you're with strangers—neither should your web pages. If you think of a web page's design as representing you, then you're on the right track. - Casual:
When you're with friends or family you act more casually than you do when you're with business associates. With friends you're more personal, informal, sometimes even goofy—you long ago stopped trying to make a good impression :)
Casual doesn't always mean "sweats or blue jeans." Think of Casual as "friendly," "easygoing," or
"insouciant" (don't you just love that word?). - Formal:
With business associates you're more reserved, professional, official—you're always trying to make a good impression. You're the most formal with complete strangers—you're trying to make a good first impression (otherwise they might find out who you really are and have nothing more to do with you). Right?
Formal doesn't always mean tux or evening gown. Think of formal as being proper, conventional, or traditional .
Everything's relative These categories are necessarily subjective, so what we say is "Casual" you might consider "Formal" or vice versa. Some styles can be either Formal and Casual, depending on how you use them. So use the Stylizer as a guide, but you must be the final judge on whether or not a style is
appropriate for your site. Before you start Fusion4 All
