What's a Tewtorial you ask? Well, they are lessons designed by eFuse's very own Web Ninja- Sensei Rick Tew.
Mr. Tew offers you basic step-by-step how Tew's for operating popular NetObjects Fusion 4.0 functions.
And what's so Tewrrific about these lessons?
Most Tewtorials combine the power of three, to include 3 separate and individual lessons: Browser
based, Template
and
Video.
With these lessons, you can use the one that fits your learning style or combine them to really master the techniques.
Where do I start? First, check out Views - this is a quick tutorial that takes you step-by-step through Fusions five views. After this lesson, you
will be well on your way to understanding the way NetObjects Fusion works and in turn, have the skills needed to start creating your own Fusion masterpiece. What next? All other Tewtorial lessons are divided into the 5 NetObjects Fusion views:
Site View
-create your site's structure and organization Page View-add text, graphics and links Style View-choose a look for navigation, buttons and banners Assets View-manage your files and links Publish View-upload your site to a web server What is a View? NetObjects Fusion guides you through creating a web site, by taking you through the five stages you need to follow. Each view allows you to perform a variety of tasks for optimum development of your site. Power of Three: Browser Based Lesson This is the lesson taught through your web browser and on the
eFuse web site. You simply click the link and view the tutorial. The browser version is a handy tool. This kind of lesson is great if you can easily learn by reading or just need to pick up a
few tips. The browser lessons also work great as reviews for techniques you already know and is also handy as a refresher course. Template Lesson It is one thing for me to explain how to throw a nice kick - it is
another altogether for you to actually do the kick yourself. So, the second part of each lesson is a downloadable NetObjects Fusion Template version of the tutorial. This way, if I say, "the
properties box will pop up when you click this particular this object," you will actually see the window appear. Instead of reading about the necessary steps to make, you will actually be
making them yourself. This offers a hands-on approach to learning any of NetObjects functions and it is a great way to ensure your memory of the lesson. Video in Action Some of us are visual learners and we need to see the way
things are done before we can grasp and understand the concepts. Others just want another way to increase their understanding of any particular lesson. Either way, the video
lesson is a downloadable visual demonstration, showing you exactly how to do each lesson, just sit back and enjoy. Eat the popcorn while you wait for the download.
If you plan to use all three lessons, I suggest you start by reading through the browser version on eFuse, then download the other lessons, but watch the video first. Next, follow the
lesson in NetObjects to create your own masterpiece. With the power of these three tools, you should be well on your way to understanding and making NetObjects work for you.
Who is this Tew character?
Hi, I'm Rick Tew and just in case you're wondering, the last name is pronounced just like the number. Even though my last name says
otherwise, there is only one of me, but... I do have a split personality. Don't believe me? Just tickle Rick with a mouse click. Okay, if you haven't
figured it out yet, I am highly devoted to the martial arts. Utilizing the martial arts as a gateway to excellence, I've created my personal development programs and founded
Tew Ryu the Martial Science.
My courses are for anyone who wants to integrate mind, body, spirit and access his or her true potential.I met the black belt in design, Daniel Will-Harris, through
e-mail. Just another great example of the how small the world really is - don't let the term "Cyberspace" fool you. The powerful reality is, that developing Internet contacts and
future relationships is not only effective, but very realistic. So, to make a short story longer, we hit it off and created a win-win situation and now I am your Tewtor.
Enough about me, you're here to learn NetObjects Fusion. But, but, but, if you can't get enough of my ill wit - you can visit me at www.ninjitsu.com.
